The Mader domaine is a very small quantity, high quality wine producer based in Alsace, in the village of Hunawihr in the middle of vineyards on the Route des Vins. All the vineyard is grow organically without any chemical. Certified by Ecocert since 2007. 100% Riesling, 25 years old. The Lieu dit Haguenau, situated on the north side of Ribeauville, is a south east facing slope on a deep limestone and marl ground. Haguenau hill is like a warm bowl that keeps the heat of the day and returns it at night. As a result, wine of Haguenau are always ripe and full bodied (warm area) but they always carry a big acid back bone due to the Limestone bedrock.
