Winemaking Notes: Grapes picked on the morning of August 29th and brought into winery to rest undisturbed for 24 hours. The entire lot was foot tread and left for another 24 hours to soak on skins. The grapes were pressed into stainless tank to start primary fermentation with native yeast. The juice was racked off of gross lees into Austrian Stockinger puncheon and 3 neutral French oak barriques to finish primary fermentation and start malolactic conversion. Elevage was 11 months. The wine was bottled unfined, unfiltered, and zero zero.'

Crystals: All Ardure wines are fermented with precious large crystals such as fluorite, labradorite, rose quartz, and shungite. The shungite spheres rest on the lids to repel EMF’s (electric and magnetic fields) away from the wine.

Vineyard Notes: The long summer days, followed by cool nights, impart distinctive flavors, with deep complex aromas. The result is long, lingering finishes from complex, superb wines. The 25 acres of old vines consisting of the Zinfandel and Petite Sirah vines, were supplemented in 1996, with a new planting of Chardonnay grapes to take advantage of the favorable climate.
