Loop de Loop Wallflower Project Red
This chillable summertime red wine is a co-fermentation of reds and whites. This wine is just fun and carefree. It has instantly become the most popular wine in our tasting room as its just simply joyful & juicy. Wallflower project brushes aside rules and convention - this is a co-fermentation of roughly equal parts: Cabernet Franc, Viognier & Syrah. All from a beautiful vineyard located at the confluence of the Deschutes and the Columbia Rivers.
In the cellar: all these varietals went through carbonic maceration for 10 days - then 3 days of pigeage - then into the press to finish fermentation off the skins. Juice bomb with floral and herbal aromatics, it’s also got just enough structure from the pigéage…the cab franc bramble comes out on the finish. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered in house - by hand - with less than 20 ppm so2.
