Rocamadre Criolla 2022
Petite's notes: After Malbec, Criolla is Argentina's most common grape varietal. Typically relegated to making low quality white wines, it is given the spotlight it deserves here. A three week maceration lends a red color and a hit of tannins and texture in the glass. Spice, accompanied by tart red fruits like cherry and cranberry. This drinks almost like a cross between Zweigelt and orange/pink Pinot Gris.
Winery: Rocamadre labels are from an original numbered series of art works that were printed by artist Fábrica de Estampas
