Sete 'Freaky' Rosato NV
Sete Freaky Rosato is a natural rosé wine produced by Sete Vini Naturali in Priverno, Lazio, Italy. This wine is a blend of Ciliegiolo (25%), Bonamico (25%), Sangiovese (20%), Ottonese (20%), Malvasia Puntinata (5%), and Moscato Bianco (5%), sourced from organically farmed vineyards. The grapes undergo co-maceration for one week, followed by pressing with a hydraulic press. Fermentation is spontaneous with native yeasts, and the wine is aged for six months in stainless steel tanks. Bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulfites, this wine reflects the unique terroir of the Amaseno River Valley, characterized by its hilly terrain and volcanic soils.
Emiliano Giorgi and Arcangelo Galuppi are the duo behind natural wine outfit Sete in Priverno in Lazio, a hilly agricultural area about two hours south of Rome. The duo tends to native grape varieties across around four hectares and make natural wines with a lot of rusticity.
