Teutonic White Tannat ‘Bacalao’ Rosé 2021
This is a rich complex wine. Beautiful white scented flowers on the nose and white peaches and peach skin on the palate. Age it or drink now, it's sure to be another Teutonic favorite. Great acid and tannic structure. This is a complex wine worthy of aging but also ready to drink in its youth.
About Teutonic:
“Old & Cold, High & Dry, Wood & Wild.” That's the mantra of Teutonic Wine Company. Barnaby and Olga Tuttle make Willamette Valley wines inspired by Mittelmosel and Alsatian whites and light reds - that is to say they are old vine, cold climate, high altitude, dry farmed, wood-aged and wild-fermented. And they are absolute rippers. In the pursuit of creating Oregon ~terroir wines~ since planting their first vines in 2005, they have accomplished that and more; these wines are a bottled lesson in Oregon archeology. Truly a product of their time and place, these are expressive, mineral-driven, high-acid rippers that will broaden your horizons on what Willamette Valley juice can taste like.
